Dr. Haytham Salem
Consultant Family Medicine | Sports & Musculoskeletal Medicine
Dr. Haytham Salem brings more than 15 years of medical experience to Perfect Balance in Abu Dhabi. His practice combines sports and musculoskeletal medicine, diagnostic ultrasound, image-guided procedures, regenerative care and personalised strategies for joint health, recovery and healthy ageing.
About Dr. Salem
Medical expertise built around movement and long-term joint health
Dr. Haytham Salem is a British Consultant in Family Medicine with specialist expertise in sports, musculoskeletal, regenerative and longevity medicine. He works with athletes, active adults, professionals and individuals experiencing joint or musculoskeletal concerns.
His approach begins with a detailed medical and functional assessment. Where clinically appropriate, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound may be used to examine joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles. Findings are then used to guide a personalised plan that may include an ultrasound-guided procedure, regenerative treatment, exercise prescription, metabolic optimisation or coordinated rehabilitation.
Rather than treating every patient in the same way, Dr. Salem considers the person’s symptoms, medical history, physical demands and longer-term goals. This supports informed decision-making and helps connect medical treatment with the rehabilitation needed to restore confidence in movement.
