Amy Gilbert, BSc, MCSP, HCPC, DOH
Amy and Valentina met in December 2021, and instantly they connected over a passion for people’s wellness, holistic care and creating something different in Abu Dhabi.
Amy is also the founder of Perfect Balance Rehabilitation Centre (PBRC), with over 7 years of experience of managing PBRC, Amy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field to her role as Managing Director of OPBMC.
Educational Background:
Amy earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Southampton, where she developed a passion for addressing the complex interplay between physical health and overall well-being. Her commitment to advancing her expertise led her to pursue specialized training in women’s health, including management of complex incontinence and pelvic pain.

Clinical Philosophy:
Amy believes in a patient-centered approach that empowers patients to take an active role in their health journey. At OPBMC, she fosters a supportive environment for both patients and staff members. Amy has built a philosophy and reputation in Perfect Balance that attracts highly skilled and dedicated clinicians where patients can fully trust their medical providers.
Community Involvement:
Outside of her clinical practice, Amy is actively involved in community outreach and advocacy. She conducts workshops and seminars aimed at raising awareness about women’s health issues and promoting preventive care. She also collaborates with local organizations to support women’s health initiatives and provide educational resources.
Personal Interests:
In her spare time, Amy enjoys weight training, running, pilates, the beach and spending time with her two young children, husband and friends. She is passionate about maintaining a balanced lifestyle and believes in the importance of self-care and wellness.
